So you want to know a little bit about me? 

I am a stay at home mom. I have three children. My two oldest are out on their own and have started their own families. I have three granddaughters.


 My youngest child is 14 and  started high school a few weeks ago. I can't believe it!


I have always loved to cook and bake. I made my first pie when I was about 11 years old. It was a lemon meringue and I'll tell you truthfully the crust was terrible.

I blog about cooking, baking , food and sometimes even family on my blog of the same name Flour On My Face .

I love trying new recipes and coming up with my own original recipes. Some of the recipes I blog about I have found online or in cookbooks. I usually add my own personal touch but sometimes I make the recipe as I found it. 

I also update and modernize vintage recipes that I find in my collection of vintage cook books. Those recipes will be titled The Vintage Recipe Project.

 Most of what I blog about on my blog is food that any family would eat. But I have started venturing into more complicated recipes lately.


I love it when you, my reader leaves me a comment and tells me you tried one of my recipes.  Or maybe one of my recipes from the Vintage Recipe Project brought back a fond memory. Either way I appreciate all the comments.
